SolarGen installed
multiple solar PV systems on behalf of Bramall construction for
Wigan & Leigh Housing. After conducting site surveys on the
properties and talking to the client, we designed the
installations for the roofs with the best returns in respect of
the possible yields and installed remote monitoring so WALH can
receive the feed in tariffs without visiting the properties. In
just under a 3 month period we installed over 300 PV
installations, shown above is a sample of some we did. |

SolarGen was approached
to install twenty five solar PV arrays on a small new build
residential estate in Preston by Bramall’s to help Community
Gateway.
After conducting a site survey and talking to the client, they
designed a mix of x7 0.48kWp array’s and x18 0.72Kw arrays on
each to help achieve their required SAP level. |

SolarGen Energy was
approached to design and install a solar PV array on a house in
Fulwood, Preston.
The site survey showed the roof on the garage to be the most
optimum and of South orientation & clear of obstruction and
shadow. We advised this as the orientation on the house roofs
would be less efficient due to shading and lead to a more
complicated/laborious installation than the more southerly
orientation of the garage we suggested. The customer was keen to
proceed on this basis. We designed a 4kWp array of 20 Caymax
solar panels to be installed on a slate roof. |

SolarGen Energy was
asked to install a domestic array of PV solar panels to
accommodate the financial investment the client had enough
electricity to supply substantial amount of the family’s
electricity requirements for general items running throughout
the day.
The site survey showed the roof was of welsh slate with a
southwest orientation. Maximising the roof space, we were able
to design a system of 12 panels, to produce an estimated
1,819kWh/year, enough to cover the client’s expected return on
investment.
"We are so pleased with the service
SolarGen provided, we are still in shock that the timescale was
so condensed and disruption was so little. The house was left
immaculate and the workmen involved where all professional and
well mannered.” said
homeowner Bill Turner. |

Mrs S Jones asked
SolarGen Energy to install the optimum amount of panels suitable
for the roof space available at her property. Due to the south
facing roof having limited space a dual array system was used on
the East and West facing pitches for optimum performance
utilising 16 high efficiency 195W Caymax solar panels to offset
electricity costs incurred in running her power.
"We chose SolarGen Energy for their
professional site and no pushy sales where every aspect of the
installation was explained in detail. To date our system has
recorded over and above what Solargen forecast due to the high
efficiency of the materials used so to say we are pleased is
understating the system.”
S Jones, Wigan
It is estimated that the investment in the solar modules will
have repaid itself in 8 years and thereafter the returns will
exceed anything that could be achieved by investing in a bank. |

“At every stage we were thrilled with the work that SolarGen
carried out, professional service and outstanding result. We are
very pleased and would recommend SolarGen Energy to anyone
interested.”
S Stothers approached SolarGen Energy to Design & install a
solar array on his home in Tyldesley. After a site survey, a
design of 10 Caymax 200 Watt solar panels (2kWp) was installed
on a south east facing roof, either side of existing velux
windows.
Stuart & his partner, decided to install solar PV for various
reasons, but predominantly to reduce their ever rising energy
bill.
"I had read a little up in Solar
panels before inviting SolarGen round but they instantly put us
at ease and went through any query/question we had. I could not
believe you could get about a 10% return on your investment. Try
getting that in a building society!. And then there is a smug
feeling when you see the generation meter working away
and your usage meter standing still.” |
