Solar Only Installation
A traditional installation of solar panels on the roof of your home with a string inverter is a brilliant way to being your energy bills down, and a great investment in the future of the planet. This option is best for those who are frequently home during the day time (such as those who work from home), or those who have high daytime energy use. It is a lower cost option than a battery storage installation, however you will only benefit from savings during daylight hours.
The solar panels are usually installed on the roof, on a mounting frame which is anchored beneath the tiles. There are different systems available for on roof, in roof, flat room (ballasted), and different roof coverings such as slate or tile. The wires from the panels are then connected to the inverter – which converts the electricity from DC to AC so you can use it within your home – and then through to your consumer unit for use within the home or export to the grid.
Solar & Battery Installation
A solar panel installation with a hybrid inverter and battery is a great way of extending your energy savings into the evening. This will ensure that even once the sun goes down, you are still using the electricity that you have produced through your system. This option is best for those who are not at home during the day, or wish to sell electricity back to the grid at peak times and charge at low rates – for instance those on EV or peak/off peak tariffs.
Battery Retrofit

Depending on the age of your system, you could install batteries with an AC coupled inverter, or if your inverter is nearing its end of life you could upgrade to a hybrid inverter.

If you have an existing system and need assistance with repairs within the North West, please contact our friendly team who will be more than happy to help. Please note that call out fees do apply should an engineer need to attend and assess your installation.

Our installations come with manufacturer warranties for all components or up to 10 years, with panel performance output guarantees of 20 years. With all our new installations, we offer a 2 year workmanship warranty, and the additional protection of an independent 2 year insurance backed guarantee – which will cover your installation even in the event that we are no longer trading. Of course, having been established and trading since 2010, this is not something that our customers need to worry about.
